Chemistry Jewelry is a family-owned gallery rooted in the heart of downtown Hood River, Oregon. Since 1998, our space has celebrated the artistry of fine, hand-crafted jewelry—pieces made with soul, skill, and intention.

In June 2009, after managing the shop for seven years, Christine Barthmus purchased the gallery and made it her own. With a lifelong passion for jewelry and a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship, Christine began traveling across the country to connect with independent artists. She hand-selects every piece, curating a collection that reflects both timeless design and a modern spirit.

In 2016, Christine and her husband Michael rebranded the gallery as Chemistry Jewelry, creating a space that honors connection—between people, materials, and the stories jewelry helps us tell.
